Beautiful work. She looks very similar to someone I encounter with my friend Dimitri.

I don't have any personal experience w/ ayahuasca or dmt, but I've read about it and find it fascinating. I did not set out to draw a machine elf; rather, I just drew this sketch one night and when I was done, I thought that it looked kind of like some of the descriptions that I have read about. Guess I was right. :-)

Books on this topic I have read are:

"Supernatural" by Graham Hancock (fascinating!)

"Fishers of Men: The Gospel of an Ayahuasca Vision Quest" by Adam Elenbaas (pretty interesting)

"The Cosmic Serpent" by Jeremy Narby (still in the middle of this one)

Also very interested in Rick Strassman's work, but have only ready a few snips here and there.

I'm really interested in visionary art, but don't use entheogens. Love reading about it though, and am a big fan of Alex Grey etc.

Glad you like the art.

It would be nice to have a picture of a machine elf at wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_elf).

Is the picture of yours FREE TO USE, or is it copyrighted?
