Work in progress Part II: Nava Yoni

You knew I was going to have to go green with it. Did a few other minor things as well. Getting close to starting the painting. It will be interesting to see what other changes it goes through once I get into paint.

Work in progress: Nava Yoni

Nava Yoni is the working title of this piece; it refers to the geometric shape in the middle. This piece started with a sketch drawn with black Prismacolor sticks on newsprint, initially drawn with both hands simultaneously, with my eyes closed. The sketch was then further developed. This image is based on that sketch, and the plan is to use it as a reference for a painting. That's the plan, anyway. I don't have a photo of the sketch at the moment; perhaps it will make an appearance here sometime in the future. For the moment, I thought that this Photoshop sketch was getting far enough along to show it here on my blog. Stay tuned........
